Joan Bundy Law has pledged a total of $5,000.00 over five years to the Justice Advocates Coalition (JAC) at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. The desired intention of the gift is to support students with summer fellowships in family law.
The JAC’s goal is to encourage current law students to explore careers in public interest and social justice lawyering. Financial obstacles can prevent students who are interested in this type of work from pursuing summer positions that will provide them with valuable experience advocating for individuals who might lack access to justice. JAC helps remove these obstacles and enable students to cultivate these interests during their legal education. JAC is a student-led initiative. Students apply and compete for fellowships and are awarded by their peers.
Joan Bundy, an Arizona family law attorney and principal of Joan Bundy Law, is a 2005 graduate of the James E. Rogers College of Law.
